Ssam and the Village Grill in Crash Landing on You
By Bulgogi Curator
Meat, fire, napa, ssamjang — a grill page, not a so-bulgogi marinade, and never clam “bulgogi.”

TL;DR
Episode 2: unmarinated grilled pork, napa, ssamjang. Episode 12: Se-ri Seoul beef BBQ as the contrast. This is a grill page, not a bulgogi marinade page. Do not call the clam cook in E4/E8 beef bulgogi.
Meat, fire, napa, ssamjang. That is ssam. Cook pork belly at /recipes/samgyeopsal-gui-pork-belly or a thin grill cut from /cuts. Salt. A hot grate. Wrap in napa or lettuce.
Reported in Crash Landing on You episode 2: the village grills pork with almost no marinade. In episode 12 Se-ri sits at a Seoul beef BBQ. Korean Bapsang recaps both. This is not a so-bulgogi recipe. Point the directory at neighborhood tabletop, not high-end steak.
Do not retitle the clam-and-soju cook (Bapsang episode 4 / Dramabeans episode 8) as bulgogi. Those are clams. The winter kimchi cellar from the same show lives on https://kimchee.ai/blog/as-eaten-in-cloy-kimjang.
